Jul 10 Jordan & Darby
Jordan & Darby are getting hitched in a couple of months and we have been fortunate enough to get to spend some quality time with this crazy couple. There was a lot of laughing and goofing off during their engagement session…especially from the photographers (which is typical). Enjoy! Continue reading →

The Fayetteville Public Library was kind enough to invite us back for another round of photos. A few weeks ago, I posted a photo of myself on top of their building. I was going to post more photos from the shoot but then, I somehow managed to get Mono. I’m better now and I’m excited to be working again. Now, we get to play catch up! Continue reading →
Jun 10 Lately

Self Portrait atop the Fayetteville Public Library during a recent shoot.
Summer is here and that means lots and lots of weddings. But for us, it means weddings on top of everything else. And for that, we are eternally grateful. But that doesn’t mean we don’t get overwhelmed and stressed at times. So what have we been doing to shake out the stress? Well, we’ve been drinking lots of water, going to bed early, training for an upcoming bike ride, swimming in the lake and walking the dog a lot. But my guess is that you didn’t come to blog to find out what we’ve been doing in our off time. You came to see what we’ve been doing in our “on time”. So without further adieu… Continue reading →
Jun 10 WMT2010

For the first time ever, we attended the annual Wal Mart Shareholders Festivities. And boy, was it crazy! We were camped out in the Ghirardelli Chocolate tent photographing visitors in front of a beautiful backdrop of Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. Not a bad way to spend a good chunk of a week. Free chocolate, an air conditioned tent and and the opportunity to laugh and goof off with people from all over the world. Check out some of the pics! Continue reading →
Jun 10 Creeks, Cabins & Bridals

Ok. For starters, this water was freezing so props to (at the time, her name was…) Miss Rachel Holcomb for getting in. Not to mention that fact that she was in her WEDDING DRESS and it was BEFORE the wedding. Nevertheless, she did and she rocked it. Over the past few months, we’ve become quite good friends with the Holcomb family. We journeyed to the Mississippi Delta over a weekend, to take in a local festival in their hometown and to do some engagement photos. And a few weeks ago, they were in town working on some wedding plans and they mentioned that they had the dress with them. In spite of the severe weather that had shown up unannounced, Rachel put on her dress at our studio and we spent the next few hours having all kinds of fun. Now that she’s married (as of Saturday, May 29th…CONGRATS!!!!), we can finally post a few of her bridal photos. Wedding pics will follow soon. In the meantime, enjoy! Continue reading →
May 10 Twilight Walk/May

Apparently, downtown Rogers can get pretty darn crazy. We didn’t know this of course, because we are kind of new to the downtown community. But we learned quick at the first Twilight Walk of the year. The Twilight Walk happens every 3rd Friday from May until October and each one has a different theme. This month’s theme was “art” and so the streets were filled with various local artists displaying their work and performing their craft. The body painter was especially talented as evidenced by the above photograph. And what did we do? Well, we opened up our studio and invited people to come in, goof off and get their portrait made in the process. And then, we invited people to contact us and request their photos at no charge and we’ve been having a lot of fun going through them all. Here are a few of our favorites. The next Twilight Walk is June 18th and we would love to see you! Continue reading →
